Lock Logo Improved

The 'Lock' logo was very bright to start off with and I felt that this wasn't suitable for the target that its aimed at. To die it down a bit I changed it to black and white by using the chalk and charcoal effect. This therefore relaxed and mellowed the atmosphere of the logo.
I then decided to act text into the 'O' of lock, and I wrote "Love LOCKdown" as this generation had a lot of love songs and this phrase was incorporated into many songs.

I then changed the colour of the text to yellow so that it stood out compared to the rest of the logo. I thought it brighten the logo up a little bit so that it isn't boring to look at, but still not too lary.
Due to the fact that this is the logo that will be playing more classic hits, 70's, 80's and 90's hits I felt that it was appropriate that the logo isn't too lary by making it black and white and not too bold. It attracts it's target audience as it isn't too bright and an older generation will appreciate the relaxed mood created by the logo.

Buzz Logo Improved

After reading through my feedback I felt that I needed to make the 'Buzz' stand out more as it wasn't as bold as the others. I went to the effects tab at the top of the screen and selected the poster edges effect which I though sharpen the logo up making it bolder. The edges look darker which really emphasises the sharpness of the text and makes the logo look rougher which looks more attractive.

I then added an extra layer and looked through all the possible gradients and after careful consideration I decided that the gradient above was the best choice. It is similar colours to the logo itself so it complements the logo well.

This is my final logo for Buzz. I felt that the added colour to the background calms down the logo so that it's not as lary. The edges of the logo look more sharper which attracts the eye of the viewer to look at it, and it attracts to its target audience as the bright colours still stand out.

Pulse Logo Improved

I started off by duplicating the layer so that I had 2 of the exact same. I then hid the bottom layer as it wasnt on a transparent background so that I could work on the top layer.

I made the top layer more transparent by reducing the opacity so that its more see through. I then placed it slighty above and to the left of the bottom layer so it looks more like a shadow.

I then clicked on the bottom layer and then chose the effects tab at the top. I then clicked on the sprayed strokes effect as i felt that it gave a much more jazzy effect to the logo and made it more interesting to look at. I felt that it helpede to attract the target audience as the colours keep it eye catching and the jagged edges made it more appealing to look at.

This is my final logo that i came up with after looking through the feedback that I recieved, and I concluded that the logo needed to be jazzed up more. With the addition of the 'shadow' effect it makes the logo look more 3D.

Synopsis of Football Academy Adverts

Idea 1.
My first advertisement will be to attract students to join the football academy. It is aimed at both parents and students from all backgrounds as the advert will signify that the student can study their A-levels as well as participating in the academy. The message of the advert is to show students that they can keep their educational values as well as keeping fit and healthy by training and competing in games weekly. It also encourages teamwork, hard work and commitment as well as showing the academy and other players respect and fairplay. The advert itself will include fast paced cutting shots of the students in both the classroom studying and on the pitch training and participating in games. The logos, slogans and contact details will be incorporated into the game footage itself by using a variety of effects. On top of this, a voice over and a talking head will be used to get across key information. The talking head will be the coach of the academy as they can highlight the key values, the importance of the academy and they can also represent the academy to a high standard. This means that the ad itself will be a very realist narrative. A variety of camera angles and camera shots will be used to create a variety of effects such as a low angle shot of the coach to show that he has high importance.

Idea 2.
This advert will highlight the key values on the pitch that the academy stand by such as sportsmanship, fairplay, team work, determination as well as those off it such as concentration, hard work and dedication. The advert will be aimed mainly at students from all backgrounds that have a love for football and it will do this by fast cutting to many shots of the team training and playing in matched as well as enjoying themselves. It will also aim itself at parents as it will highlight the importance of education and taking their A-levels. The fast cutting will also include shots of the manager, the facilities and the educational facilities. The logo and the slogan will be incorporated into the advert by being on a computer screen of one of the students work. We will witness this through an over the shoulder shot will emphasis' the variety of different camera shots that will be used. Subtitles will be included to get across important information to the viewer such as when open days are and how to apply. A couple of very short interviews with players and staff will state how good the academy is and what it offers. It will be a realist narrative as well as slightly dramatic to emphasis how serious the academy is.

Idea 3.
This advert will be set up as a documentary and will follow one player so that the viewer can get a better insight to the lifestyle that someone in the academy has around school. It will emphasis many key values which include passion, hard work, commitment, dedication, respect, sportsmanship and leadership. It will be a very dramatic advert as it will be very serious and detailed in the way that it will state that a lot of hard work and commitment needs to be put in on the pitch and in the classroom. The ad itself will include subtitles to show the slogan as well as motivational quotes from players to try and persuade others to join. Facial expressions will be shown to show the passion and hard work that all players are putting in. A short interview/voiceover will occur to say what they like about the academy and why. It reaches out to those who are passionate about football and are prepared to put in the time and effort to develop their skills within the academy regardless what background your from. Its aimed at students who are really into football and are passionate for the sport as it gives them an insight to what they will be experiencing and the amount of work and time they would have to put in to achieve. There will be a variety of camera shots and angles used to show the importance of players and coaches.
