After looking through all our ideas and having a discussion about what idea we though was best for 'The Grid', we came up with the idea that having 'The Grid' written on a rubix cube all jumbled up was the best idea. The idea would consist of:
1) rubix cube is on a table with the letters from 'The Grid' all over the place
2) 2 people (1boy, 1girl) walk into the room wearing casual clothing (e.g. t-shirt and jeans)
3) people start observing the rubix cube before both attempt solving it
4) neither can finish it so throw it over their head behind them
5) when the rubix cube lands on the floor it is completed
6) 'The Grid' brand identity then comes flying across the screen in bright colours and an original, bold font
The ident will be creative and exciting as it won't be obvious and basic. The idea will be original but it will become much more exciting because of the use of long shots, high angle shots, over the shoulder shots, low angle shot and many other shots. There will be some use of tracking in and tracking out and we aim to have the mise-en-scene targeted at the target audience. There will be a range of colours and one main font that will represent 'The Grid'.
Our idea will be innovative as no other ident in the world includes the use of a rubix cube as their main prop/character/attraction and the effects on the bland identity 'The Grid' will be different and unusual compared to most other idents.
